Fred's mission is to increase family and pet preparedness for all types of emergencies.

A note to partners from Fred the Preparedness Dog.

I want to thank you all for your interest in getting the children of our state and country ready for a disaster or emergency. Each of us touches the lives of children every day in ways that we sometimes cannot even imagine. Whether you’re a teacher, police officer, activity leader, or just a neighbor we can all help the young people become prepared now and know the lessons to stay prepared for their entire lives.

The intent of this website is to provide games and information aimed at young people to help them increase their preparedness. On this site you will find games that can be downloaded for classroom use, a game app for individual and after-school use, information about various preparedness and safety topics as well as information about me including my schedule and pictures. I hope to keep this site up to date with regular postings of new information, pictures, etc. so please check back when you can. I will also continue to share information via Facebook at Twitter for parents or older children with accounts in hopes that you will share with your entire family.

In any event, I hope this site helps you continue your hard work of getting our communities ready for emergencies.
